At a joint meeting on Nov. 8, 1945, the Actuarial Society of America and the American Institute of Actuaries adopted unanimously the Resolution of fraternal greetings and congratulations to the members of the Institute of Actuaries and of the Faculty of Actuaries (at left). The document was sent to the Institute and the Faculty at the end of World War II.

Note of Interest: The respective honor rolls of the Actuarial Society of America and the American Institute of Actuaries, with duplications removed, show that 358 individuals were in service in World War II—57 fellows, 68 associates and 233 students.
